This notice explains what personal data I process when you use pappfer.hu or write to me. In short: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and the only data I receive is what you send me yourself through the form or by email.

Contact form and email
What: your name, your email address and your message, including anything you write in it.
Why: to reply to your inquiry and, if you ask for one, to send you a quote.
Legal basis: for a quote request, steps taken before entering into a contract [GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)]; for any other inquiry, my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me [GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)].
How long: one year from when the matter is closed, so I can see the history if you write again. If we sign a contract, the documents tied to the contract and its invoices are kept for the period required by Hungarian accounting law (8 years).
Spam protection
The form is protected against spam bots by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile only loads when you click into the form, and it uses technical characteristics of your browser (such as your IP address and browser type) to tell whether a person is sending the message. Cloudflare does this check; I only receive the result (passed or failed). Legal basis: legitimate interest in preventing abuse [GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)].
Serving the site
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request (IP address, page requested, time, browser type) to deliver the site to you and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy; I do not link it to anyone.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored by your browser (localStorage) on your own device only and never reaches me.
Who receives the data
I do not sell your data or pass it on for marketing. The following providers have access to it as processors, only as far as needed to run the service:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA): serving the site, Turnstile spam protection, the server-side function that receives the form, and forwarding email sent to @pappfer.hu.
- Formspree, Inc. (USA): relaying form messages by email.
- Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): the mailbox the messages arrive in (Gmail).
Cloudflare and Formspree also process data in the United States. Cloudflare participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; Formspree protects the data as set out in its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to:
- tell you what data I hold about you (access),
- correct inaccurate data (rectification),
- delete your data (erasure),
- stop using it for a while (restriction),
- stop processing it on the basis of legitimate interest (objection),
- give it to you in a machine-readable format (portability).
Write to [email protected]; I will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe I have infringed your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., 1055 Budapest, Hungary, naih.hu, [email protected]) or with the data protection authority of your own EU country, or go to court.
